If you have not tried the scholastic magazine website you may want to take a look.  This will be subscription based next year but for now it is free on the link below

click the words ”find your magazine”  at the top to select the appropriate grade level.  Each issue has a read aloud, summary game and a short video to go with the issue.  All can be displayed on the Boxlight projector.

The following are a selection of websites based on specific criteria designed to assist Social Studies teachers with additional resources for classroom use.   The website was created by to Michael Ballard a Social Studies teacher in Florida. The criteria used for the websites chosen for this page are as follows; The website was a highly informational site, The website was one containing primary resources for use in the classroom including documents, photographs, newspapers, letters, etc. and the website contained appropriate lesson plans that could be adapted to meet the needs of the classroom.  It is the teacher’s responsibility to review any website prior to using it in class.
