Web site offers free online math lessons

Although this item deals with math, the link itself has other disciplines as well:
This web site offers free online math lessons. The California-based Web site Brightstorm offers online math help for students with video lessons created by teachers. Most of the site's math lessons are free, but the company also offers fee-based lessons in preparation for standardized tests. "Anybody who is confused with their homework can come to our site, search for the concept, find it really quickly, and then they can get an explanation that is concise and to the point from a really talented presenter who is also a great teacher," http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=news/drive_to_discover&id=7196389 or http://www.brightstorm.com/

Teacher's Domain

These classroom resources, featuring media from NOVA, Frontline, Design Squad, American Experience, and other public broadcasting and content partners are easy to use and correlate to state and national standards. Teachers’ Domain resources include video and audio segments, Flash interactives, images, documents, lesson plans for teachers, and student-oriented activities. Once you register, you can personalize the site using "My Folders" and "My Groups" to save your favorite resources into a folder and share them with your colleagues or students.
Teachers’ Domain has added a new section called "Inspiring Middle School Literacy: Reading and Writing in Science and History." These self-paced classroom activities are designed to enhance the literacy skills of struggling readers in grades 5-12. Teachers choose a science or history topic, then have students proceed through reading passages, videos, and interactive activities, using a glossary to build vocabulary and a note-taking area to submit writing assignments

Teacher’s Domain also has The Regents Review 2.0 collection which includes 50 videos produced by New York Network, a service of the State University of New York, in collaboration with the Association of Public Broadcasting Stations of New York.
