Although Microsoft office (or one or more of the components - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) may be on many of the computers in the world, there are free alternatives.OpenOffice.org 3 is the leading open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more and works on all common computers. It stores all your data in an international open standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages. It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose. It also allows for cross-platform sharing of files.The features are parallel to those available from MS Office and it is FREE!You may download the suite from http://www.openoffice.org/. There are tutorials available for the suite on the website
