TeachersFirst developed this site to help classroom teachers and other educators better recognize and serve students with high intellectual abilities - either in specific areas or generally. The individualized techniques that can accomplish this are often similar to those used when adapting instruction to meet other individualized needs.

It also provides teachers and other education professionals with information and resources about teaching students with disabilities.
